2. Services Provided

Modern Mamas Village connects families with pre-vetted helpers who provide childcare, household assistance, and cleaning services. We facilitate the matching process but do not directly employ the helpers.

• All helpers are independent contractors
• Services include childcare, light cleaning, organization, and household tasks
• Availability varies by location and helper schedule
• Specific service details are confirmed at time of booking

3. Payments and Fees

Payment is required at the time of booking through our secure payment platform.

• All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
• Rates vary based on service type, duration, and helper experience
• Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor
• A service fee may apply to cover platform costs and helper vetting
• Tips for helpers are optional but appreciated

Refund Policy: Refunds are available in accordance with our cancellation policy (see Section 5).

4. Booking and Scheduling

Bookings are subject to helper availability and confirmation.

• You must create an account to book services
• Bookings are confirmed once payment is processed
• You will receive confirmation via email with helper details and appointment time
• Helpers will arrive within the scheduled time window
• Any changes to your booking must be made at least 24 hours in advance

5. Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both families and helpers.

To cancel a booking, log in to your account and navigate to "My Bookings" or contact us directly at hello@modernmamasvillage.com.

6. Indemnification

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modern Mamas Village, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any disputes between you and a helper

7. Release of Liability

While we thoroughly vet all helpers, Modern Mamas Village acts as a platform connecting families with independent contractors. We are not liable for:

• Actions or omissions of helpers during service provision
• Damages to property or personal injury (though all helpers carry insurance)
• Disputes between families and helpers
• Service quality issues beyond our reasonable control

All helpers are required to maintain appropriate liability insurance. If you experience any issues, please contact us immediately so we can help resolve them.

8. User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when booking
• Treat all helpers with respect and professionalism
• Provide a safe, appropriate work environment
• Communicate clearly about expectations and specific needs
• Report any issues or concerns promptly
• Not engage in discriminatory behavior
